As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll support pharmacy operations by preparing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate processing of prescriptions. You'll collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare teams to provide exceptional service and ensure patient safety.

What You’ll Do:

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Performing sterile compounding of IV medications following strict safety and quality protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Managing medication inventory, including proper storage and stock reconciliation.
• Accurately processing prescription data entry and verifying patient information to ensure correct medication dispensing.
• Assisting the Pharmacist-in-Charge with daily pharmacy operations, including preparing labels and maintaining documentation.
• Verifying medication orders for accuracy and completeness while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Keeping the pharmacy workspace clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Reporting any discrepancies or concerns directly to the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC).

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid and violation-free Pharmacy Technician license or certification as mandated by Michigan state law.
• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
• At least 1 year of sterile compounding experience (preferred).
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy management software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication abilities and a team-oriented attitude.
