One of ASG Pharmacy's current clients in the Los Angeles, CA area is currently seeking Pharmacy Technicians. This is a full-time position that will entail working in a veterinary compounding pharmacy setting. Environment: Veterinary compounding pharmacy 

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Flexibility to work 7a-7p M-F, with an occasional Saturday, no major holidays 

Pay Range: $22-25 per hour, depending on individual qualifications, license, experience, and skillset

Pharmacy Technician Description:

• Prepare orders for pet parents by confirming customer data, counting, filling, and labeling medications
• Ensure accuracy of patient information and records
• Check completeness of prescriptions
• Handle customer interactions professionally
• Partner with pharmacists and logistics team to troubleshoot issues and improve operations
• Maintain accurate records and monitor inventory levels
• Cross-train in customer service, logistics, and compounding
• Champion the pet parent experience by recommending digital process improvements

Pharmacy Technician Qualifications:

• Experience in data processing, fulfillment, or retail role
• Customer-focused and pet-focused mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent communication skills and team-player attitude
• Ability to remain calm and excel under pressure
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Flexibility to adapt to new processes and procedures
• Must love pets!

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
• CA state registration
• PTCB/NHA certification
• Capable of moving boxes weighing up to 25lbs
• Willingness to wear multiple hats and help the team when necessary
