As a pharmacy technician trainee, you’ll play a vital role in the closed-door pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include accurately filling prescriptions and providing exceptional support to our clients over the phone. You’ll be the go-to person for addressing any questions or concerns they might have, ensuring they receive the highest level of service.

In addition to these key duties, you will also be involved in detailed data entry, which is crucial for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. You’ll have the opportunity to work hands-on with our innovative med-cup packaging system, a cutting-edge tool designed to streamline medication management and enhance efficiency.

Your role will be dynamic and multifaceted, requiring a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach. You’ll be an integral part of our team, contributing to the smooth operation of our pharmacy and helping to deliver exceptional care to our clients.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm, plus a Saturday rotation 10am-2pm. closed on Sundays, closed on major holidays Pay: $15-18/hr without license/experience, with state license the pay will be $19/hr Requirements: We welcome candidates who are new to the pharmacy field, recent graduates, or individuals returning to pharmacy after a hiatus. Whether you have a lapsed license, a background in pharmacy from some years ago, or are entering the field for the first time, we encourage you to apply. While state pharmacy licenses are beneficial, they are not a mandatory requirement for this role. We value a diverse range of experiences and are committed to providing the necessary training and support to help you succeed in your position. In addition, we would like to see:  

• Attention to Detail: We need techs who can spot even the smallest details to ensure accuracy.

•  Customer Service Skills: Bring your friendly, helpful attitude to support our clients. 

• Math Skills: Basic calculations are part of the job, so confidence with numbers is essential. 

• Eagerness to Learn: We love to teach and grow our team, so a willingness to learn new things are a must. 

• Multitasking Ability: Juggling multiple tasks is a daily part of the job, and we need people who can handle it with ease. 

Medical Field Experience: Previous experience is a plus, as it helps you hit the ground running, however it is not required.
