Job Overview
ASG Pharmacy is seeking skilled Pharmacy Technicians specializing in Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy services. This critical role supports medication management for nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other long-term care settings.
Work Schedule
- 3 shifts per week: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- 2 shifts per week: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- 1 weekend shift per month: Saturday (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and package unit-dose medications for long-term care facilities
- Accurately fill and label prescriptions for patient-specific medication cards
- Manage complex medication distribution systems for multiple care facilities
- Enter and verify patient medication orders with precision
- Coordinate medication deliveries to various long-term care sites
- Maintain strict adherence to pharmaceutical regulations and safety protocols
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Current Nebraska Pharmacy Technician license
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with long-term care pharmacy preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
