One of ASG Pharmacy's major clients in the Syracuse area is currently seeking a long term care Pharmacist. This is a full time, direct hire position in a closed door environment, and the schedule is FLEXIBLE day shift hours!

As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:

• Entering and reviewing faxed, verbal, electronic, and paper orders.
• Initial Review orders (PV1) and Final Review Orders (PV2).
• Contacting physicians for prescriptions when appropriate.
• Speaking with providers regarding prescription issues and clarifications.
• Entering, checking, and replacing contents of EKits and Automated Dispensing Machines (ADS).
• Pulling and logging controlled substances.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• NY State License in good standing
• 1+ years of Pharmacist experience
• Team player mindset and willingness to take initiative
