Liza was understanding and really helped me walk through internal fears I was having about leaving a long time employer. She wasn’t pushy, gave me space when i needed it, but always offered encouraging words. I wasn’t actively looking for a new role when she found me, but she presented me to an absolutely amazing company that I ended up joining. Funny thing is, on my interview, the partners told me I didn’t fit the background mold they were seeking (my exp was a little different) but that Liza encouraged them to chat with me, and they admitted they were really glad they listened to her. Morale of the story, Liza had the ability to identify the client and candidates need, even if it wasn’t written on paper. That’s a people skill that is needed in this business!
