Injection Molding Technician
Responsible for mold installation and removal, start-up and troubleshooting of existing jobs, and direction of work station set-up and effectiveness. Will aid in determining process ability to establish the largest process window while
meeting customer specifications and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform all duties of Set-Up Technician
- Mold installation and removal
- Interacts with all departments to recommend, implement and follow through processing problems and maintaining optimum process conditions
- Maintain process data logs and process set-up sheets
- Machine start-up and shutdowns
- Procure and analyze IQMS data
- Communication with shift personnel to ascertain equipment effectiveness and reliability
- Maintaining Set-up equipment condition, organization, and inventories
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process and quality systems
- Assist in training of Set-Up Tech personnel
- Perform other duties as required
Work Experience:
- Minimum three (3) years knowledge and experience in Set-Up Technician position
- Working knowledge of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Working knowledge of process troubleshooting and mold setting
- Ability to read and interpret part prints

Educational Requirements:
- Prefer High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3 – 5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
