As an Outside Sales professional, you’ll play a crucial role in expanding our customer base, nurturing client relationships, and driving sales growth. What You’ll Do:
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with assigned customers throughout California to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Developing new prospects and leads through business development activities to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Coordinating quotes and orders seamlessly with inside sales, customer service, and project management teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Following up on sales leads, from initial inquiry and quoting to closing purchase orders.
- Collaborating with the sales manager on key accounts to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Working with accounting to collect past-due receivables on relevant accounts.
- Logging at least 25 phone calls and 25 sales visits weekly into HubSpot CRM.
- Attending weekly one-on-one meetings with the sales manager, weekly sales meetings, and participating in national and quarterly staff meetings.
- Meeting KPI activities and reports as required.
- Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned by management to support team objectives.
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and develop new business opportunities.
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
