Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with the world’s leading innovator and manufacturer of technology for the recycling and waste industry.  We are looking for 1st shift Material Handlers to start ASAP!  This is a full time 1st shift role located in York, SC. Shift: 5:30am - 4pm Mon - Thu (some overtime worked on Fridays) Pay: $19/hr  

Overview

We are looking for a dependable and skilled Material Handler to support our production and distribution operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials are organized, delivered, and ready for use, while maintaining high standards in safety, efficiency, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull orders from inventory and deliver materials to production areas.

• Stage finished products for shipment and distribution.

• Maintain inventory through labeling, tracking, and accurate documentation.

• Locate and verify materials for production lines.

• Pack and prepare materials and products for shipment.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material handling equipment.

• Maintain an accurate delivery and materials log.

• Ensure compliance with production and safety standards.

• Demonstrate flexibility and reliability, including the ability to work overtime when needed.

• Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Previous stock, warehouse, or material handling experience required.

• Forklift experience required.

• Overhead crane experience preferred

• Experience with inventory control, ERP/WMS systems, and RF scanners preferred.

• Familiarity with basic engineering drawings and steel manufacturing is preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic math and tape measure reading skills.

• Ability to read and understand detailed instructions and safety protocols.

• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach regularly.

• Must be able to lift/move 10–50 lbs frequently, and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

• Comfortable working in a warehouse or production setting.
